It is never based on the reputation, politics, or history of the hosting organization. A voter registration drive hosted by an activist group is classified as a voting event, not a protest.
3. 3No organization is automatically labeled as a "protest" or "rally" host. Each event is evaluated independently on its own description and details.
4. 4Every event on COMN is reviewed and approved by at least two independent members of our real, human editorial team before it ever appears on the map. Our team reviews the platform daily. No event is ever automatically published.
5. 5Event descriptions are written as neutral, factual summaries with no editorial voice.
6. 6No editorial opinions, political framing, or advocacy language appear in any event description on this platform.
7. 7We actively seek civic events from across the political and ideological spectrum. No perspective receives preferential treatment in sourcing or approval.
